The government has initiated discussions on developing high-speed bullet train connectivity by reviewing proposals for three major corridors aimed at strengthening the State’s transport infrastructure. Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy chaired a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat on Friday to examine the proposed high-speed rail corridors.
The corridors discussed during the meeting included Hyderabad–Pune–Mumbai, Bharat Future City–Bengaluru and Bharat Future City–Amaravati–Chennai. Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj and senior officials attended the
meeting. They held detailed discussions on the feasibility of the proposed corridors, their interconnectivity, and the infrastructure required to support the ambitious high-speed rail network.
Venkat Reddy said the Telangana government was moving ahead with a planned approach to transform the State into one of the country’s most advanced transportation connectivity hubs.
