According to the information provided, the building's roof is old and damaged, and rats have made nests inside the structure. The rat-bite incidents took place over two days and nights in Room No 2 of the Tararani Sadan residential block.
As news of the incident spread, parents rushed to the school and took the injured students to a private hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, parents and residents alleged that the Zilla Parishad administration spent 10 crore on constructing a cultural hall next to the school but failed to pay attention to the maintenance of the building where the students live.
