Global hospitality major Accor and Andhra Pradesh-based Sri Bhramara Group have signed an agreement to develop a ₹250-crore Novotel Beachfront Hotel at Gavinivaripalem, near Chirala, marking one of the largest internationally branded hospitality projects on the Andhra Pradesh coast. A statement said the brand signing ceremony was held at Aerocity, New Delhi, on Friday. The project is aimed at strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s coastal tourism infrastructure, while attracting private investment, creating employment and promoting sustainable economic growth.
Spread across a 3.15-acre beachfront site overlooking the Bay of Bengal, the proposed hotel will feature 225–250 guest rooms and suites, multiple speciality restaurants, banquet and conference facilities, a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre and landscaped recreational spaces. The property is designed to cater to leisure travellers, corporate guests, destination weddings, conferences and family vacations. The project is expected to generate significant direct and indirect employment, boost the local economy and position Chirala as an emerging premium beach destination in India.
The agreement was signed by Sri Bhramara Group Chairman and Managing Director Galla Ramachandra Rao and Accor’s vice president – Business Development (India and South Asia) Balvinder Sahrawat, in the presence of senior
representatives from both organisations. Upon completion, the Novotel Chirala Beachfront Hotel is expected to become one of Andhra Pradesh’s flagship hospitality destinations, attracting domestic and international tourists while enhancing the State’s coastal tourism profile.
