The Gujarat government has rolled out anti-radicalisation cells across the state, with police issuing a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) to tackle the threat of extremism. According to the guidelines, the new cells will focus on a four-point strategy: preventing extremism from taking root, identifying vulnerable individuals, providing counselling and rehabilitation, and strengthening preventive interventions through coordinated action.
