A doctor was allegedly killed and his eight-year-old son was injured in Karnataka's Hubballi-Dharwad district. The police initially responded to a reported double murder, but the district police commissioner discovered the child was still breathing and rushed him to a hospital. The victim's wife, who is also a doctor, allegedly stabbed her husband and son.
She was seen scrolling on her mobile phone while her injured son lay nearby. The wife also allegedly attempted suicide by taking a high dose of insulin and is undergoing medical treatment. Police are investigating all angles and will question the wife once she recovers.
