The state chief stated that the party is organisation-based and decisions regarding the chief ministerial face are taken collectively after elections.
This development comes amid the party's internal review of its performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in the state, where the ruling alliance won thirty-six out of eighty seats. Additionally, the Samajwadi Party Chief recently claimed there was a conspiracy to replace chief ministers in multiple states, including Uttar Pradesh.
