An off-duty woman cop caught hold of a man who allegedly exposed himself to her on a busy street in Howrah and marched him nearly 400 metres to the nearest police station. The incident unfolded on Monday afternoon on BT Road, where what began as a case of street harassment quickly took an unexpected turn. The woman was riding her scooter when a man allegedly exposed himself, made obscene gestures and passed vulgar remarks at her.
Unaware that she was an off-duty police cop dressed in civilian clothes, the accused continued his behaviour. Instead of leaving the scene, she confronted the man on the spot, grabbed him by the collar and forced him to walk nearly 400 metres to the nearby Khardah Police Station.

A local shopkeeper told reporters that the constable firmly held on to the man throughout the walk to the police station, leaving many bystanders stunned by the dramatic scene.
Police later identified the accused as Akash Ghosh, a delivery agent. He was taken into custody after being brought to the station, where the constable lodged a complaint against him. Ends
