In an interview in Lucknow, a Samajwadi Party leader Mata Prasad Pandey discussed the political situation in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. Addressing the controversy surrounding the alleged donation theft at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, the leader stated, "Lord Ram is angry with them," suggesting that the issue has damaged the ruling party's public support while boosting the Samajwadi Party's base.
The leader criticized the Chief Minister for failing to prevent the theft despite having access to intelligence and security services. Additionally, the leader asserted that the donation theft will be a major issue in the elections, pointing out that the opposition party's victory in the Ayodhya constituency during the general elections was a sign of public dissatisfaction.
