In a recent interview, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak addressed allegations of theft in Ram Mandir donations, stating, "Action will be taken against the guilty." He dismissed claims that the government is protecting anyone, asserting that an FIR has been filed and an investigation is underway. Pathak countered the opposition Samajwadi Party by questioning their stance on Sanatan Dharma and challenging them to build the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura.
He asked, "Why were cases against terrorists withdrawn?" referring to the Samajwadi Party's tenure in 2012. Pathak also raised questions about the funding sources of Madrasas in the state and the country. He criticized the Samajwadi Party for nepotism, pointing out that key party positions are held by family members. Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government, Pathak credited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for improving law and order and transforming Uttar Pradesh from a sick state by filling the treasury without increasing taxes.
