The RBVRR Telangana Police Academy and the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on leadership development, capacity building and training programmes for police officers. The agreement was signed by Telangana Police Academy director Abhilasha Bisht and ASCI secretary and registrar O.P. Singh.
Under the MoU, the two institutions will work together on leadership development, knowledge exchange, research, joint training programmes, seminars, workshops and the adoption of modern administrative practices aimed at strengthening the organisational capabilities of the police force.
Officials said the partnership is expected to enhance the administrative and leadership skills of police officers while introducing contemporary governance and management practices into police training. The two institutions described
the agreement as the beginning of a long-term collaboration that would create new opportunities for training, research and organisational development, and further improve the quality of police training in Telangana.
