Esports Foundation CEO Mike McCabe explains how organisers transformed a venue into a world-class esports arena in just eight weeks, switching out of Riyadh for the first time. The event was moved because of ongoing conflict in the region, although bosses say the EWC will return to Saudi Arabia in 2027.
With a combined prize pool of $75m (£55m), more than 2,000 competitors and millions expected to watch around the world, the event is one of
