The final film of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister is set for release on July 23 after a seven-month delay, legal battles, and a piracy controversy. The Central Board of Film Certification has cleared the film with an A certificate after directing twelve modifications. These changes include muting political and religious references, deleting a scene showing the national flag on the ground, and removing disrespectful depictions of a district collector's insignia.
Additionally, scenes depicting a child being burnt have been replaced, and cuss words have been removed. The film's final runtime is locked at three hours and three minutes, and it is expected to screen in around one thousand theatres across Tamil Nadu.
