The student's parents have accused the class teacher, headmaster, principal, and school management secretary of repeated harassment and physical assault. The family claims the child suffered bruises and severe mental distress due to sustained harassment and bullying by a student gang.
Police have registered an FIR and initiated a preliminary inquiry. This incident marks the second case of student suicide or suicide attempt in Bengaluru within a week, following a sixth-grade girl's suicide in Anekal over allegations of stealing.
