Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday (July 14, 2026) inaugurated the ‘State-Level Sahyog Programme’ at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. A total of 129 applications were registered, out of which 100 applicants were present, and their cases were resolved. The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure high-quality and time-bound resolution of every grievance so that public trust in the government is further strengthened. He directed that action will be taken against any official or employee who fails to cooperate in resolving applications or shows laxity in their work. Speaking during the programme, Mr. Choudhary asserted that the government’s objective was to ensure a transparent, impartial, and time-bound resolution of every citizen’s grievances. Many people have had their issues resolved through ‘Sahyog Shivirs’ (assistance camps).
For applicants who still have objections regarding the decisions on their applications, a State-level assistance programme has been arranged so that their grievances can be re-examined. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure widespread publicity for the ‘Mukhyamantri Solar Yojana’ (Chief Minister’s Solar Scheme). Under this scheme, free electricity up to 125 units is provided, and consumers will also receive financial benefits for any electricity generated beyond 126 units. “We urge everyone to install solar panels on their rooftops and promote the use of solar energy. A permanent solution to the electricity problem will be ensured by developing remote and inaccessible villages into ‘Solar Villages.’ Eligible beneficiaries who have not yet received pension benefits, or whose applications are pending, should have their cases processed quickly so that the pension amount can be disbursed by the 10th of next month,” Mr. Choudhary said.
The Chief Minister directed that if an application lacks necessary documents, it should not be summarily rejected. Instead, the concerned applicant should be issued a notice and given an opportunity to provide the required documents, ensuring that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of government schemes due to technical reasons. He stated that work on constructing new roads should be expedited following the monsoon season. All officials must treat citizens with respect and sensitivity and ensure the timely resolution of their grievances, he added. The Chief Minister pointed out that the objective is for people to receive resolutions to their problems within 30 days through the assistance camps. “If an application reaches me, it implies that it was not processed correctly at the initial stage.
