In an interview, Amol Muzumdar, the head coach of the India women's national cricket team, discussed the team's test victory against England at Lord's and their recent 50-over World Cup win. Muzumdar highlighted the shift towards an aggressive playing style, noting that the team now consistently aims to score 300 runs in the 50-over format and focuses on taking wickets even in T20 matches. He stated, "Even in a T20 format, we've always believed in picking up wickets." Muzumdar credited the Women's Premier League for playing a significant role in developing players by exposing them to packed stadiums and top international talent, ensuring they can "not just survive, but excel in international cricket."
