बलूचिस्तान की कठिन भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों और बदलते राजनीतिक हालात के बावजूद हिंगलाज माता की परंपरा आज भी जीवित है. इसका एक बड़ा कारण स्थानीय बलोच समुदाय है, जिसने सदियों से इस तीर्थ की विरासत को सहेजकर रखा है. स्थानीय मुस्लिम समुदाय मां हिंगलाज को सम्मानपूर्वक ‘नानी’ या ‘नानी पीर’ कहकर पुकारता है. हिंगलाज यात्रा के दौरान कई बलोच परिवार तीर्थयात्रियों का मार्गदर्शन करते हैं, उनकी सुरक्षा और सुविधाओं में सहयोग देते हैं तथा यात्रा की पारंपरिक व्यवस्थाओं का हिस्सा बनते हैं. यही वजह है कि भारत से दूर होने के बावजूद मां हिंगलाज का यह शक्तिपीठ आज भी आस्था, सांस्कृतिक सह-अस्तित्व और सदियों पुरानी परंपरा का जीवंत प्रतीक बना हुआ है.
Despite the difficult geographical conditions and changing political situation of Balochistan, the tradition of Hinglaj Mata is still alive. A major reason for this is the local Baloch community, which has preserved the heritage of this pilgrimage for centuries. The local Muslim community respectfully calls Mother Hinglaj as 'Nani' or 'Nani Peer'. During the Hinglaj Yatra, many Baloch families guide the pilgrims, assist in their security and facilities, and become part of the traditional arrangements of the yatra. This is the reason that despite being away from India, this Shaktipeeth of Maa Hinglaj still remains a living symbol of faith, cultural co-existence and centuries-old tradition.
