Concern is growing over climate activist Sonam Wangchuk's health as his indefinite hunger strike enters its 17th day. According to Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, Wangchuk has lost over 8 kg and is experiencing severe weakness, muscle loss and low blood sugar levels. As calls for government intervention grow, CJP has announced a nationwide campaign and a peaceful march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament on July 20 during the Monsoon Session, while questions continue over whether the movement can build enough momentum to achieve its demands.
