Leaders, officials pay tributes to Vietnam boat tragedy victim in Kadapa

Government whip and Kadapa MLA Reddeppagari Madhavi Reddy, accompanied by her husband and TDP zonal coordinator Reddeppagari Srinivasa Reddy, paid tribute to the mortal remains of Mudiyam Sridhar at his residence in Kadapa on Tuesday (July 14, 2026).
They expressed their grief and offered condolences to the bereaved family members. Mudiyam Sridhar, who ran a retail mobile outlet called ‘Nakshatra Mobiles’ in Om Shanti Nagar of Kadapa city, fell victim to a boat capsize incident in Vietnam, in which several Indian tourists lost their lives.
District Collector Sridhar Cherukuri also called on the family members and expressed his condolences. He urged them to remain strong during this tough time and assured them that he would expedite the compensation process and provide additional support.
Revenue Divisional Officer Murali, Kadapa Municipal Corporation (KMC) Commissioner Bhavani Prasad and Additional Commissioner Rakesh Chandram were among those who paid tributes.
