A four-year-old boy sustained critical injuries after accidentally falling from the first floor of a clothing store while playing at a shopping complex in Chickballapur. The incident was captured on CCTV camera. The child, identified as Gagan Sindhu, had accompanied his parents, Narayansaamy and Madhu, to purchase clothes at Pillappa Complex in Chickballapur town.
According to preliminary information, the parents were busy shopping when the child was playing near the first-floor corridor. While holding onto the safety grill, he reportedly lost his balance and fell to the ground floor.
The family hails from Gollaradoddi village in Chickballapur taluk. The child was rushed for treatment and has since been shifted to a private hospital in the city, where he remains in critical condition. The police are verifying the circumstances surrounding the incident.
CCTV footage is being examined as part of the inquiry.
