The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has announced a major boost for the state's healthcare sector by distributing appointment orders to 2,144 newly recruited health department personnel. The recruits were selected through the Medical Services Recruitment Board. During the event, the Chief Minister interacted with the newly appointed doctors, taking selfies and recording a selfie video with them.
A young doctor recreated a chest tap gesture from a Tamil film remake, while others shared a fist bump with the Chief Minister, referencing a signature gesture from another film. Additionally, the Chief Minister stepped down from the stage to hand over an appointment order to a differently abled doctor and greeted the gathering with a hand heart gesture.
