The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has secured a five-day remand, until June 2, for Giribala Singh and her son Samarth Singh in connection with the death of 33-year-old Twisha Sharma. Giribala Singh was arrested shortly after the Madhya Pradesh High Court cancelled her anticipatory bail. The CBI alleges that Giribala was an active participant in the events leading to Twisha's death, accusing the family of dowry demands, harassment, and forcing an abortion, which was reportedly exposed through WhatsApp chats.

The agency also claims that Twisha's injuries were not caused while removing her body from the ligature and suspects evidence tampering. To uncover the truth, investigators are employing a new-age 'tunnel view' technology to create a digital detailed reconstruction of Twisha's final hours. This simulated version will synchronize CCTV footage, mobile network logs, Wi-Fi data, and forensic evidence to identify time gaps and inconsistencies in the accused's statements.

The CBI plans to interrogate the mother and son face-to-face to gather further evidence.
