Iran's Revolutionary Guard says it's targeted US military assets in Bahrain and Jordan. The IRGC says it fired missiles and drones at the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
Air raid sirens were activated, and interceptions were seen in the sky over the capital Manama. Iran also targeted what it described as an “important US military facility” at an air base in Jordan.
Jordanian armed forces said they shot down four missiles in their airspace. Iran says retaliatory operations against the US will continue. Al Jazeera’s Hamza Mohamed reports from Doha, Qatar.
