The incident was captured on CCTV, sparking concerns among officials. The woman, identified as Manjula, was caught sprinkling consecrated white mustard seeds on the chair of the 1st Additional Senior Civil Judge at JMFC Court in Chikkaballapur, said the police. Subsequently, she was arrested and remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. A further investigation remains underway into the matter.
