Published 07/14/2026 Published July 14, 2026 Trump warns Iran will be 'hit hard' US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran will be "hit hard" on Monday and Tuesday as the conflict between the two countries escalates. Speaking to radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump said the United States would continue carrying out strikes against Iran, adding that "there's not a damn thing they can do about it." Trump also commented on Pickaxe Mountain, a deeply buried underground site near Iran's Natanz uranium enrichment facility.
He said the location was being closely monitored and described it as "a possible target for a big fat shot." "We have a lot of eyes
on it," Trump said. "We see no activity there, they're not doing well with their nuclear situation. Every time we hear about it, we blow it
up." The US president added that Washington would "give Pickaxe a shot relatively soon" and described Iran's leadership as "extremely unreliable," saying: "These people are crazy."
