भारतीय जनता पार्टी जम्मू कश्मीर के अध्यक्ष सत पाल शर्मा ने ज़ी मीडिया से एक्सक्लूसिव बातचीत में कहा कि उमर अब्दुल्ला द्वारा लगाए गए आरोप बेबुनियाद हैं। और उन्होंने विश्व की सबसे बड़ी पार्टी की छवि खराब करने का प्रयास किया है, जो हम कभी भी बर्दाश नहीं करेंगे। उमर अब्दुल्ला पिछले दो सालों में एक भी काम नहीं कर पाए, उन्हें एक व्हाइट पेपर देना चाहिए जिसमें वो अपने द्वारा किए गए लोगों के काम गिनाए। बजाये इसके वो झूठे आरोप लगा रहे हैं। उन्हें माफी मांगनी होगी अन्यथा उनके खिलाफ 100 करोड़ का केस किया जाएगा। 20 जुलाई को उमर अब्दुल्ला और अन्य नेताओं द्वारा किए जा रहे विरोध प्रदर्शन को लेकर सत शर्मा ने कहा कि ये दिल्ली में जाकर लाइमलाइट लेना चाहते हैं।

Regarding the protest being organized by Omar Abdullah and other leaders on July 20th, Sat Sharma said that they are trying to gain the limelight by going to Delhi. India is a democracy, and they can do anything, but we will not let them tarnish the image of the BJP.
