Larry Sabato, founder and director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, says Democrats still have a chance to win Maine's Senate race after Graham Platner formally withdrew from the race, but warns party divisions could leave Susan Collins favored. Sabato notes Maine was supposed to be an easy pickup for Democrats, but is now "turning out to be tough," while Senate races in Ohio, Iowa and Alaska look "more possible" than predicted.
He also reacts to President Trump's removal of Election Assistance Commission members, calling it "disturbing," and says Trump's refusal to sign the bipartisan housing bill is a "big missed opportunity."
