State SVEEP Nodal Officer P.S. Vastrad inspected a Voter Facilitation Centre (VFC) established at MCC Colony in Ward No. 39 under Zone Office-9 of the Narasimharaja Assembly Constituency as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The centre has been set up to facilitate voters assigned to polling booths 144, 145, 146 and 147.
During the visit on Sunday (July 12), Mr. Vastrad reviewed the facilities provided to the public, the process of receiving applications, verification of supporting documents and the overall progress of the SIR exercise. He also interacted with voters to obtain feedback on the services being provided at the centre.
He later held discussions with Booth Level Officers (BLOs), BLO Supervisors and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), directing them to complete the SIR exercise within the stipulated timeframe while ensuring transparency, accuracy and quality in the revision process.
