Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has been ranked the fourth most family-friendly airport in the world by UK-based travel experience provider AttractionTickets.com. The airport is also one of the only two Indian airports to feature in the global rankings.
The recognition comes under AttractionTickets.com’s ‘Happiest Airports Ranking’, which evaluated more than 140 airports worldwide on family-focused amenities and services. Hyderabad airport secured a score of 18.5 out of 20 based on its performance across nine parameters. The assessment considered Google review ratings, children’s play areas, family security lanes, baby-changing facilities, stroller services, rest and sleep zones, Wi-Fi quality, airport size, and support for neurodivergent passengers.
