Speaking in New Delhi, BJP General Secretary Tarun Chugh criticised Conference leader Omar Abdullah, accusing him of trying to internationalise the Jammu and Kashmir issue. Tarun Chugh said Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and that all issues related to the region should be addressed through the Constitution and democratic institutions of India.
He also said that development, governance and tourism have improved after the abrogation of Article 370. The remarks are part of an ongoing political exchange between the BJP and Omar Abdullah.
