A wedding photo of Twisha Sharma, who died by suicide in Bhopal (Source: Social Media) In the Twisha Sharma death case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has now decided to use the advanced ‘tunnel view’ investigative technique, which will help the agency digitally reconstruct the former actor-model’s final moments before she was found dead at her matrimonial home in Bhopal on May 12. The CBI will be creating a highly detailed, minute-by-minute virtual reconstruction of all the events that eventually led to Twisha’s death. The agency is trying to decode the sequence of events and the exact circumstances in which Twisha Sharma died, India Today reported. What Is The ‘Tunnel View’ Technique? The ‘tunnel view’ technique is an investigative method that combines CCTV, phone records, Wi-Fi logs, internet activity, smart-device data, forensic mapping, and witness accounts into a synchronised timeline to digitally reconstruct the final moments of the crime. As per the report, the agency is creating a virtual spatial reconstruction of the house to trace Twisha’s movements, identify who accessed different parts of the residence and establish a precise sequence of events leading up to her death. Officials are also aligning timestamps from surveillance cameras with mobile activity and internet data to generate a minute-by-minute digital simulation of Twisha’s final hours. The “tunnel view" analysis is expected to help investigators detect unexplained gaps in the timeline, suspicious movement patterns, contradictions in witness accounts and any suspected effort to alter or manipulate evidence after the incident. The report added that the reconstruction may prove crucial in determining whether Twisha was subjected to coercion, whether there was a larger conspiracy involved, or if the crime scene was deliberately tampered with on the night of her death. Twisha Sharma Death Case Twisha Sharma was a former actor and model based in Noida. She shifted to Bhopal after marrying Samarth Singh last December. On May 12, Twisha was found hanging at her matrimonial home. After her death, Twisha Sharma’s parents accused her in-laws and her husband of dowry harassment, domestic violence, mental torture and physical abuse. Alleging a discrepancy in the first post-mortem, Twisha’s parents demanded a second autopsy and refused to conduct her funeral till then. On May 24, Twisha was finally cremated after her second post-mortem was done by doctors from AIIMS Delhi in Bhopal. Twisha Sharma’s husband, Samarth Singh, was arrested in Jabalpur on May 22 after remaining absconding for nearly 10 days. He had surrendered to the authorities following an extensive search operation. CBI Arrests Giribala Singh In a major development in the case, the CBI on May 28 arrested Twisha’s mother-in-law Giribala Singh, a day after the Madhya Pradesh High Court set aside her anticipatory bail protection. CBI officials questioned Giribala Singh at her residence in Bhopal’s Bag Mughaliya Extension before taking her into custody. Sources said she is likely to be produced before a court to seek further custodial interrogation. The agency is likely to intensify questioning in the coming days and cross-check statements of the accused against digital and forensic findings to determine the exact sequence of events leading up to Twisha Sharma’s death.
