Yemen’s internationally recognised government says its armed forces have targeted the runway at Sanaa airport to prevent an Iranian plane from landing. A delegation from the Houthis, also known as Ansar Allah, was returning from Tehran after the funeral of Iran's supreme leader.
The Houthis control the capital while the internationally recognised government, based in the southern city of Aden, controls most of the rest of the country.
