The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a closure report in the 2024 coaching centre flooding case, giving a clean chit to two senior civic officials after finding no evidence of criminal negligence. However, the municipal corporation has initiated departmental proceedings against three building department officials for dereliction of duty and negligence. Meanwhile, a ground reality check reveals that coaching centre libraries continue to operate in the area.
