In Kota alone, five women remain on dialysis after their health deteriorated, prompting protests from their families who demand answers and accountability.
Following the public outcry and continuous media coverage, the state health ministry has convened a high-level meeting with top gynaecologists and medical officials to investigate the root cause of these tragedies. While initial explanations blamed extreme weather conditions and the pre-existing critical health of the pregnant women, the government is now conducting a comprehensive audit of medical records, treatments, and drug quality.
