The Supreme Court began hearing the plea seeking a CBI probe into the alleged Ram Mandir donation theft case. Petitioners have questioned the ongoing SIT investigation and demanded a court-monitored CBI inquiry.
During the hearing, the apex court sought a sealed status report from the SIT and issued notice to the temple trust. While no order has been passed on transferring the probe to the CBI, the next hearing is scheduled for July 20.
