NFL star Chris Johnson, 40, recently announced he was diagnosed with ALS. Johnson ran for 2,000 yards in his second season with the Tennessee Titans in 2009 on his way to three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances. He was also named the 2009 Offensive Player of the Year.
LiveNOW’s Anna Marsick is speaking with Dr. Imad Najm, a Cleveland Clinic Neurologist, to learn more about Johnson’s battle and the rise in neurological diseases that are impacting aging populations. "It's continued to progress much faster than I ever imagined. I want people to understand just how quickly ALS can attack your body," Johnson recently said.
