BJP leader Ravinder Raina has responded to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's statehood campaign, saying there is no objection to peaceful protests but stressing that J&K remains a sensitive border region where security considerations are paramount. Raina said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have repeatedly assured that statehood will be restored "at the appropriate time" while highlighting the region's progress after decades of Pakistan- terrorism.
