THE FIGHT THAT ENDED IN MURDER According to police, Gamabhai had gone to the fields for agricultural work on the day of the incident. Later that night, when he returned home, he allegedly found his wife and Premji together. This led to a heated argument between the couple. Police said Narmada allegedly struck Gamabhai on the head with a wooden plank after the confrontation escalated. According to police, after Gamabhai collapsed, the three accused allegedly placed him on a cot and strangled him with a rope.
The next morning, the accused allegedly informed the family that Gamabhai had died a natural death. However, suspicions arose, and a post-mortem examination confirmed that the death was not natural. POLICE CRACK CASE, ARREST THREE Following the family's complaint, Tharad police registered a case of murder and criminal conspiracy. During questioning, police said they uncovered the alleged involvement of Gamabhai's wife and the two other accused. All three suspects — Narmada, Premji and Mukesh — were arrested, and further investigation is underway. The case has sent shock waves through Ganeshpura village in Vav-Tharad because Gamabhai and Narmada were parents to nine children.
With the father dead and the mother arrested on murder charges, the family has been left facing the aftermath of a crime that police say was rooted in an alleged extramarital relationship.
