Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj has called for a transparent probe into the alleged Badrinath Temple donation theft case, saying an FIR should be filed against anyone found guilty. He argued that temples should be managed by saints, devotees, and independent trusts rather than governments. Expressing confidence in the SIT formed by the Uttarakhand government, he said no guilty person would be spared under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
He also asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would ensure accountability if any shortcomings emerged in the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
