Following a tragic boat accident in Vietnam that claimed the lives of 15 Indian tourists, the Indian Embassy and Consulate are coordinating with Vietnamese authorities to repatriate their mortal remains. Efforts are underway to issue emergency e-visas for the victims' families. The Andhra Pradesh government is working with the AP Bhavan in Delhi to facilitate travel and provide necessary assistance.
A local Telugu community representative has been requested to help overcome language barriers and streamline coordination. Meanwhile, a batch of eight to ten survivors is scheduled to land at the Hyderabad International Airport tonight, after which they will be assisted in reaching their respective home states.
