Kurnool MP B. Nagaraju said that several diseases can be detected early and prevented if everyone undergoes regular health check-ups. The MP inaugurated a free medical camp organised by KIMS Hospitals, Kurnool, on Sunday (July 12, 2026) as part the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Montessori Schools. Speaking on the occasion, the MP advised people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and said that such free medical camps are highly beneficial to the community.
Pasula Anand Yadav, Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist at KIMS Hospitals, highlighted the rising incidence of heart disease and obesity due to changing lifestyles and unhealthy dietary habits. He advised people to avoid junk food, exercise regularly, and undergo routine health check-ups. Anand, General Manager of Marketing at KIMS Hospitals, Kurnool, said specialists from cardiology, orthopedics, ENT, and plastic and cosmetic surgery departments conducted medical examinations at the camp.
Montessori Schools directors Rajasekhar, Krishnamohan, and Ravindra; Pullayya Educational Institutions chairman Pullayya; KV Subba Reddy Educational Institutions chairman K.V. Subba Reddy and chairpersons of various organisations attended
the camp. As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Montessori Schools, 500 individuals voluntarily donated blood at the camp organised under the aegis of the Red Cross.
