A black Mercedes without number plates recklessly ran over two people on Club Road in Chandigarh Sector 26 before fleeing the scene. Eyewitnesses allege a minor was driving the vehicle. The victims, who had just exited a club, sustained serious injuries and were admitted to a Sector 32 hospital, with one in critical condition.
The driver intimidated bystanders by repeatedly moving the car back and forth. Chandigarh Police are currently scanning CCTV footage from the area to identify the vehicle and the driver.
