During a rally in Srinagar, the Chief Minister claimed that opposition leaders and an advocate offered legislators financial incentives, a ministerial position, and the restoration of statehood to switch allegiances.
The ruling party expressed confidence that its legislators would not accept any financial offers. In response, the opposition party dismissed the allegations as baseless and misleading, demanding evidence or an apology. The opposition asserted that the central government has consistently provided financial support to the current state administration and accused the ruling party of attempting to distract from governance issues.
