Brad Pitt’s rebranded skincare label Beau Domaine is facing a trademark dispute after a Malibu-based brand known for its high-end 'penis cream' filed a lawsuit accusing the actor’s company of infringement. The case centres on Pitt’s 2024 rebrand from Le Domaine to Beau Domaine, a name Beau D says violates its trademark rights. According to reports by AirMail, Beau D has accused Beau Domaine of trademark infringement, false designation of origin and common-law unfair competition under California law. The company is seeking damages of more than $75,000 and a permanent injunction to stop Pitt’s brand from using the Beau Domaine name and branding.
Read Full Story Beau D, described in the report as a high-end penis cream company, was founded in 2020 by former Men’s Vogue fashion editor Brandon Palas. The company reportedly tried to settle the matter privately on three occasions before deciding to take legal action against Pitt’s business. Speaking to AirMail about the lawsuit, Palas said, “This isn’t about publicity or punishment. It’s about protecting the integrity of what we’ve spent years building and ensuring independent brands have the right to grow without being overshadowed or diluted.” Pitt entered the skincare industry in 2022 with the launch of Le Domaine, a luxury label created in collaboration with the Perrin family, known for their winemaking legacy.
The brand offers products including cleansers, serums and moisturisers, with a focus on skin longevity. It was later rebranded as Beau Domaine in 2024. As of now, Beau Domaine has reportedly not filed a formal legal response in court. Work front On the work front, Pitt was last seen in the racing drama F1. The film is set to have a sequel, with producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirming the development during the annual Academy Awards luncheon in Los Angeles in February.
