Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps claims to have struck a second US vessel in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted the US Al Udeid Airbase in Qatar with ballistic missiles. The strikes hit the base's fighter jet maintenance center and command headquarters. This comes in retaliation to US attacks on Iran's coastal military bases. According to US Centcom, the US military carried out a fresh round of strikes targeting 140 locations in Iran, bringing the total to around 300 targets in the last week.
The US strikes aim to neutralize Iranian missile defense, radar, and command systems along the coastline, including Sirik, Bandar Abbas, and Qeshm Island, as tensions escalate in the Gulf region.
