A 23-year-old law student in Jaipur, Ayushi, is under investigation for allegedly plotting the deaths of both her parents to secure a government job on compassionate grounds and gain control over family assets worth 14 crore rupees. Ayushi is already in police custody for allegedly orchestrating the murder of her mother, Neeraj Sharma. Police state that Ayushi and her absconding cousin, Balram, hired contract killers for seven lakh rupees to run over her mother with an SUV, staging the incident as a road accident.
Seven accused have been arrested in connection with the mother's murder. Following these events, Ayushi's maternal uncle has raised fresh allegations regarding the death of her father, Vijay Sharma. The family claims that after the father suffered a brain hemorrhage, Ayushi denied him proper medical treatment and confined him to an undisclosed location. He later died under suspicious circumstances. Police are now probing the new charges to determine if Ayushi played a role in her father's death.
