The body of 18-year-old Gudja Manideep Reddy, a student from Hyderabad, has been recovered from the sea in Helsinki, Finland, two months after he went missing. Manideep, a resident of Hayat Nagar, was pursuing a bachelor's degree in software and systems engineering and was last seen at a Helsinki shopping mall on May 5.
The Indian Embassy informed his family via email following confirmation from Finnish authorities. The family's lawyer stated they believe the circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious. The family has alleged gaps in the Finnish investigation, demanded a comprehensive probe, and sought the Centre's assistance to travel to Finland.
