उत्तर प्रदेश में मानसून पूरी तरह सक्रिय हो चुका है। पिछले तीन दिनों से राज्य के कई हिस्सों में लगातार तेज बारिश दर्ज की गई है, जिससे मौसम का मिजाज पूरी तरह बदल गया है और तापमान में भी गिरावट आई है। हालांकि, कई इलाकों में भारी बारिश के कारण जनजीवन प्रभावित हुआ है। मौसम विभाग ने 11 जुलाई को प्रदेश के 42 जिलों में गरज-चमक के साथ भारी बारिश की चेतावनी जारी की है। पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश के अधिकांश जिलों में मूसलाधार बारिश का अनुमान है, जबकि पश्चिमी यूपी में मौसम मिलाजुला रहने की संभावना है।
