In an interview with India Today in Ayodhya, actor Anupam Kher discussed his upcoming film Shri Ram Bhumi, where he plays the role of Ashok Singhal, a key figure in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. Speaking from the sets of the film, Kher addressed the recent controversy surrounding the Ram Temple donation theft, stating that thieves operate in various places and their actions should not diminish people's faith.
He said, "My faith in my God... does not waver just because some people decided to be cheats and stole some money." Kher also responded to critics who label his recent films as propaganda, calling them the "biggest frauds on earth" who "sip champagne in a five-star hotel and talk about the poverty in India." Additionally, Kher shared updates on his future projects, revealing that he will be directing Saransh 2, written by Mahesh Bhatt, and mentioned his upcoming work in Khosla Ka Ghosla Part Two.
