The Jatiya Telugu Saaraswatha Parishath will present lifetime achievement award to Bhimavaram-based Ananda Group chairman Uddaraju Kasi Viswanadha Raju and three others, said organisation working president Kesiraju Ramprasad and secretary K.S.V.N. Varma. The other three who will the receive the award are retired civil services official C.J. Venugopal, spiritual guru Akella Vibheeshana Sharma and senior politician and TDP leader Pithani Satyanarayana, said awards committee chairman K.
Venkata Raju. Speaking to the media on Saturday, Mr. Ramprasad said the awards are presented to noted personalities who rendered good services to the society in different fields. Kasi Viswanadha Raju has been providing employment to more than 10,000 people, particularly for women in rural areas in aqua processing and exports, said Parishath president Mutyala Srinivas.
The awards will be presented by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Civil Aviation K. Rammohan Naidu, Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivas Varma and others at a function which will be held in New Delhi on July 28, said Mr. Venkata Raju.
The Parishath members also released a book on the achievements of Mr. Kasi Viswanadha Raju in aquaculture and other sectors in Andhra Pradesh.
