In an explosive congressional oversight hearing, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel clashed fiercely with Democratic lawmakers over the handling and public release of the highly classified Jeffrey Epstein files and his infamous "black book". Under intense grilling from Representative Jamie Raskin, Senator Cory Booker, and Representative Zoe Lofgren, Patel defended the bureau's transparency against allegations of a coordinated cover-up to shield President Donald Trump.
